Dr. Blake Ackerman D.C

Dr. Blake’s journey in health and wellness has been shaped by a variety of experiences, such as working with the Edmonton Oilers, playing on the Palmer College Hockey Team where he graduated as the Salutatorian.

Being born and raised in a small town, Dr. Blake developed a strong sense of community and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others from an early age Dr. Blake’s appreciation of physical well-being stems from his love for sports. Some of his favourite include hockey, golf, running, dance, skiing, weightlifting and many more. Dr. Blake currently stays active by playing organized hockey, golf and attending the gym. Dr. Blake loves working with a diverse range of individuals from all ages and fitness levels to help them continue to pursue a healthy lifestyle and overall wellness.

Dr. Dustin Kalynchuk D.C

Dr. Dustin Kalynchuk received his Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and Psychology from the University of Alberta in 2008. He then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, California, graduating in 2012. While attending Palmer College of Chiropractic he played championship college hockey alongside teammates Dr. Irwin and Dr. Pilling.

Dr. Kalynchuk has a broad patient base including newborns, teens, office workers and tradespeople. He has also had the opportunity to treat top athletes from across Western Canada and the USA, and is certified by Titleist in the treatment of professional golfers.

Outside of chiropractic, Dr. Kalynchuk enjoys being active and outdoors. He has played hockey since the age of eight, and often escapes to the mountains to go hiking and snowboarding, or to the lake for camping and wakeboarding.

Dr. Jordan Kalynchuk D.C

Dr. Jordan Kalynchuk grew up in Sherwood Park before attending Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, California. He returned home to bring his passion to CORE! Dr. Jordan treats all sorts of patients, from children to adults and loves helping athletes excel in their sport. He is passionate about making people feel better and helping them improve their overall wellness.

Dr. Clayton Pilling D.C

Dr. Clayton Pilling received his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, with a minor in Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan in 2007. He then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, California, graduating in 2011.

Dr. Pilling grew up in scenic Banff, Alberta, where he developed a love for outdoor activities, including hockey, skiing, golf, rugby, hiking, mountain biking and fishing. He is proud to live in Strathcona Country with his wife and 3 children, where he stays busy driving his kids to their various activities.

Today, he maintains a healthy lifestyle through participation in sports such as skiing and golf, the later of which he holds great passion for. With a tremendously deep understanding of sport-specific health and fitness practices, Dr. Pilling has followed his interests in treating like-minded athletes, and is certified as a Golf Fitness Instructor by the Titleist Performance Institute.

Kelsey Slade PT

Kelsey graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to that, she received a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Physical Education with a concentration in Kinesiology and Sport Studies from the University of Alberta- Augustana Campus in Camrose. Kelsey looks forward to continuing her education by taking the Beginner/Intermediate Clinical Pilates Course January 2026.

This has become a specialized area of interest for Kelsey as Pilates can benefit everyone! Whether you are rehabbing an injury or looking for injury prevention/conditioning, Clinical Pilates can be a fantastic option for clients. With a background in dance, Kelsey also enjoys working with dancers of all ages to help maximize performance and improve foundational technique! In her practice she incorporates elements of manual therapy, tailored exercise programs to improve strength and function. Kelsey strives to provide effective tools and strategies to her clients so that they can get back to doing what they love!

In her spare time, Kelsey enjoys an active lifestyle taking reformer Pilates classes in the community or walking in the River Valley (preferably with her cousin’s dog Gus that Kelsey steals from time to time!).
